May 28, 2023 - Memorial Madness at Case de Chris y Melissa - Day 2 of 2: Crazy good right now. I am glad I popped it and the CT notes for this wine definitely helped make my decision on which one to pull for IRBDW; that and the fact that the 12 was my oldest vintage of this iconic wine. On the nose and palate, a bit more dark fruited and what I felt was more terroir driven character than some of the others on the table. In a good spot at 11 years from vintage. Drink up with some decanting or hold for a few more years. For my palate…drink up!

6/2/23, 9:03 PM - LOL....A Lot of the wines on day 2 could have been opened on day 1! Some opened before day 1 could have been opened on day 1 also! ;)
