  June 2, 2023 - Always my favorite of the Sojourn PN lineup. Rich complex fruit, this is not PN as we normally drink it. A cab lovers Pinot!

  6/10/23, 6:20 PM - We don't taste enough Pinot. Dan opened it up tonight in Denver. Very smooth and delicious. The palate has a velvet consistency. The wine is medium to full bodied. Candy cherry with a tart finish. Some spice in the middle and back end. Dan pnp'd the wine so I'll be interested to taste it in a few hours after it warmed up. I mentioned that we should save some for tomorrow and see if it mellows out.

  6/10/23, 6:40 PM - Lol, James! So glad you liked it....the Sojourn pinots really are a cab lovers pinot, IMO. I turned Jimbo on to them years ago, too. Say hi to Dan for me.

  6/10/23, 7:25 PM - About 2 hours out. Wine needs a decant. Spice mellowed out and now left with tart cherry middle and finish. Score is 93.

  6/11/23, 3:15 PM - What’s up Mark! The wine was a nice treat for our sushi. The only other comment I would make is tasted strawberry notes at the beginning which I enjoyed. Thank you for the rec!

  6/11/23, 7:04 PM - Hey Dan! Glad you all enjoyed it! Yes, strawberry is usually the biggest fruit in these (Sojourn) things....and mine NEVER make it through the first night.....sometimes not even the first hour!
