July 24, 2023 - Still too young. Decanting over 2 hours was quite effective though. Raspberry and blackberry. Tannins are still too strong and need to settle. Too early for greater complexity. Will wait a couple of years.

7/24/23, 9:49 AM - Ha, ha....yes early but everyone has their own thing they're looking for in these great Bdx wines! I sacrificed one of mine 3 years ago and with 6 hours of air it was just beautiful....you did well to give your bottle 2 hours now. It almost makes me want to sacrifice another now and give it 4 and 6 hours to see where it ends up.....and how it compares to 3 years ago! Wine is so much fun!
