  July 27, 2023 - A surprise - literally! Found a bottle with no label. Could see it was Girardin and red but not sure what it is. Anyway, on opening a moderately mature burgundy, not at all over the hill. Garnet core, 3-4mm brown rim. Tinned strawberries, cherries. Soft but still present tannins. Very enjoyable
  
  Only subsequently identified by process of elimination and can only say that the CT drink-by date of 2012 was very pessimistic!
