July 30, 2023 - I dropped my bottle on the floor when I was carrying it, so I can only write a brief note on what I tasted when I got on my hands and knees with a straw. I wanted a feminine, well integrated tannins barolo with plenty of elegant red cherry notes. This was exactly it. Not super structured and dark fruited but more red fruit with racy acidity and a strong chalky tannin back bone. Lovely....for the one sip!
