9/16/23, 9:45 AM - Not sure if this is correct, but I feel Pol needs a few more years in bottle versus others of the matching vintage. I tried one of my 08's and it was boring. Is that because it's all stainless steel fermentation?

10/10/23, 7:30 PM - So maybe Pol is +3/5 years extra age compared to the “norm” of drink windows for Champ? Generically speaking of course.

10/10/23, 8:08 PM - I'm not sure that is unique to Pol Roger. I think that in general most need a few years in bottle before showing really well. But it all also really hinges on the vintage too. But as rule, I tend to say give them all a few years.
