  July 22, 2023 - Bright transclucent color that gives you already an idea of what is coming. Fragrant, tarry potpourri on the nose, to dive in. The presence is fine and ethereal, with a tart red berry core, nuances of tar, red tea, sandalwood, dog rose and tobacco leaf. The sinewy muscular structure is packed in a graceful ensemble. It leaves an ethereal, floating and lingering mouthfeel and a somewhat mystic touch, an attribute that I love so much in Nebbiolo wines. More overt than 2016. FYI: The next vintage will be 2019.
