September 11, 2023 - Medium light body, looks just like cranberry juice in the glass, strong peppery/bell pepper/green peppercorn notes on the nose, you can tell immediately this is old school, a cool vintage for sure; palate is lean, but with just enough strawberry/raspberry flavor, higher acidity but not overly tart, just a touch of a sour note, more green peppercorn, crisp and taut, probably will seem austere to some, but has a lot of interest, with subtle complexities. I have no idea how this will age, I would venture a guess at shorter than longer. Food will definitely enhance this.
