  September 20, 2023 - This is a special wine. There is a beautiful sangioveseque flavor profile with dark cherry, cherry liquor, olives and forest floor. But there is also an unctuous jammy thing going on that makes you say "yum". I would like to say there is some special element added by the clay amphorae but I cant say for sure. I do know this is good stuff. Tannins are firm and this has the structure to last. Sadly this is my last btl of this vintage but I have amassed a small trove of Clos C wines and I have enjoyed all of them. This will be my first stop if I am lucky enough to visit Corsica one day.
