September 22, 2023 - Classic Venge oakville Cabernet. Dark fruits, chocolate, crushed stones. Rich, balanced, with good acidity. Tasted with Peter at B cellars back in May.

Plays it a bit more savory than some of the other single vineyards. For Venge fans, I suspect this is the same as the Oakville 360 bottling. Vineyard is northeast corner of Oakville, lower bench

B Cellars has become one of my favorites for reasonable priced (for Napa) cabs that consistently deliver. I'm referring to the non-Beckstoffer based wines as those are highly priced like everywhere else. Enjoy your trip! Jealous!

I too am focused on their single vineyard cabs, and probably will avoid the Beckstoffer offerings due to price. I am planning on exploring some of the blends next year, with an eye towards warmer weather and grilling season. I’ve had mixed experience with some of the red blends in the past
Cyclist and I are looking for an October get together at a BYOB in Wayne. Will reach out when we find some dates that work
