10/1/23, 7:28 PM - BergerKing, we too like Migration,... and Bin 389, Bionic Frog, 8 Years in The Desert, Cornerstone. Seems like we have, perhaps, some similar palates.

Although regular and recent Caymus we have found lacking, and Austin hope is a little bit in that realm...

We wrote 10 paragraphs on the 2014 Caymus.

Thibodaux, eh? Thank you for Eric Andolsek. RIP.

10/2/23, 4:57 AM - Its wonderful how tastes can not only bring you to a place in time, but also together. I have no doubt that there are iterations of any wine that would "fit" with what I look for in a wine. However, on the Caymus......its fewer and far between. For me, it seems the fruit forward, jammy stuff, is definitely not for me.

Assuming you are a Lions fan! They look legit this year. Yes, for Eric, I remember it like it was yesterday. Even before cellphones were a thing, news traveled fast on the day it happened. His sister is married to my uncle, and his dad and my grandfather were good friends. So, I have known the family since I was young. He and my dad were close in age, and it is a shame we didn't get to see him for an entire career.
