  January 24, 2006 - Drank to celebrate Lella's business school application progress. Decanted 1 hour, probably the best zinfandel beating Radio Coteau, Hartford, Neal and others, though I've never had an Outpost or a Turley (other than Juveniles).
  
  Started off closed in the nose but eventually opened up to reveal dust, fresh flowers and cherry liqueur. In the mouth, it was all black currants and minerality with a creamy, silky mouthfeel. As good as this was, it'll be even better this time next year as it opens further. Great stuff.
