  October 1, 2023 - Good showing - the nose initially showcased a blend of blue/black fruits (blueberry, blackberry, plum) and needed to be decanted. It really gained weight, depth, and expressiveness at the 2-3 hour mark, when it w at its best over the course of the 5-6 hours we consumed the bottle. At the 2-3 hour mark, the nose revealed typical notes of rosemary and lavender with hints of dark chocolate melded with the same fruit flavors. The fruit is upfront and center. The alcohol is clearly there but not overbearing or too obtrusive. We'll hold our last bottle for near-term drinking.
