  September 14, 2023 - Deep tawny colour. Classic nose dominated by tar, dark red and blue fruit , with lots of other complexity - fig, spice and ending with a rose petal note. Palate showed just how relatively young this wine is. Intense, tannins still notable, ripe, but ever present. Very long finish. The oak never quite dissipates, both on the nose and palate. Another 10 years will benefit this wine.
