  October 6, 2023 - My initial thoughts, a dark brooding spicy Pinot, with plenty of structure which seems a bit odd for the Sonoma coast bottling which is usually pretty accessible and user friendly. Notes, one hour decant. Black fruits, some hints of pencil shavings and baking spice on the nose. Full bodied, dense black fruits with noticeable acid and tannin on the finish. A bit four square, age may help round this out. On the fence….
