  October 29, 2023 - I don’t often drink Mencia and every time I do my first impression is that something is wrong with it, perhaps mildly corked. But onc3 I get the flavor profile I warm to it. This bottle had plenty of dark berry flavors along with pleasant flowery flavors. This will never be my favorite kind of wine but fun to drink now and then.

  11/13/23, 7:33 PM - Funny, my wife and I were in Northern Spain walking El Camino when I heard the Americans at the table next to us discussing the wine and how weird it was. I recognized the producer and told them it was a top notch bottling, "but you have to like Mencia"! lol
