October 29, 2023 - Found another bottle of this wine in my cellar; thought I had drunk it all, but nope. Lucky me. Opened last night. Rich, deep, dark red. Big legs. Nose is quite pretty, floral, ripe, complex, with lots of red currant fruit and lead pencil. The extra air has really done this wine wonders. Palate is fantastic as well, rich but feminine, sleek yet full, good fruit and spice saturate the palate. This is a beauty, and I can only see it getting better from here. Absolutely one of the best bargains out there in quality Bordeaux. 5-13-16-9: 93/100.

11/5/23, 11:48 PM - I’ve reached retirement age so I’m not assuming I wii necessarily be around when some of my greatest wines will be at their apogee. So sadly I will be drinking some in their early drinking windows. Wish I could go back and do it all over again..
