  November 8, 2023 - Translucent garnet. Attractive and deep aromas of cassis, graphite and spices. Medium plus bodied, this is still tightly wound and unyielding on the palate with noble firm tannins. Everything is in the suitcase but not ready to unpack yet. The first bottle of the case, will leave the next bottle for 2033.
  
  Wine was decanted for only 45 minutes or so in a small decanting prior to tasting - restaurant setting, so didn't have the option to give more air.
