  November 17, 2023 - Lots of dark fruit: cassis, plum, fig; orangey chocolate (like the christmas classic), pencil shavings, a touch of sanguine minerality.
  
  Grippy yet plush tannins, lots of body, very good balance. Just a touch hollow on the finish away from perfection.
  
  Very well made wine overall, but as I find with much of Napa, poor QPR if that is a major decision factor for you. 93-94 pts, now-2035.
