November 12, 2023 - Spain at Rincon38. Mt btl. I gave it a 2 hr decant & back in btl. Removed cork again at Rincon38 This has terrific balance, depth & weightless elegance. Delicious & classy! Red fruit, spice, earth, mineral on both the nose & palate. A very complete ethereal red. Ready to go now but should last for decades. 13% alc. Great tonight slightly eclipsed by Matt B's '08 CVNE Rioja Gran Reserva which was my WOTN vs any other wines from both tables. Thrilled to own 5 more.

11/21/23, 1:27 AM - Greetings wineguydelmar, I can't answer your question w/ complete confidence as it was not my btl. I can say this. Another buddy of mine who was at the same dinner also wrote a note and selected this cuvee. rocknroller is typically very thorough about notes so I can only assume he selected the correct cuvee to post his note. My note came a few days later and I just used the cuvee he selected as it. Matt, the owner of that btl is on CT too. His handle is 10centpower if you want to ping him.

    cheers

11/21/23, 9:28 AM - Ok… I see the note on the CVNE Imperial Gran Reserva. Nice wine. Thanks

11/21/23, 9:59 AM - Opps, meant to reply on the CVNE TN thread. I use the original version of CT 99% of the time and still not great at the occasional use of the newer red & Brn one. I prefer the original by a big margin :).
