  Really bitter minerals and fruits. This might be a good definition of austere: very bitter and stern and not giving with the fruit. With time, the air helps this only a little with fruits being a bit more showy and slightly better integration.
  
  Decant long and hard, or just wait 6-8 years to revisit. Oh, definitely killed a baby here.
