November 26, 2023 - Aromas of blueberry pie upon first opening and checking bottle. After 5 hours decanting, nose evolves into tightly wound notes of creme de cassis, licorice, kirsch, pencil shavings, and Asian spices. Comes across just a tad hot on the nose, even at cellar temp...not a big knock, just has a touch of a tincture alcohol extract quality.
Very plush palate, round supple and mouthcoating tannins.189 views
