  December 5, 2023 - Decanted, then let fly! Lovely currant, and all the red fruits, maybe a hint of blue. Then came the baking spices, and at some point some really interesting root beer notes. The tannins are still pretty chewy! I'm just checking in with this. It's so hard to wait! But wait I will. 2 more years? Can I do it?

  12/23/23, 4:54 PM - Yes these are big wines. They need some age or a couple of hour decant in my experience to show their best.
