  December 11, 2023 - I look back on my last note quizzically. Yes, this is still lean and restrained, but it doesn't feel like that was a stylistic choice. It feels like it's just a result of a cheap and passable Pinot. There's no soul here, no depth. It drinks like a $10 Chilean Pinot or something in that vein. It's not even very Pinot-like, frankly. Rather odd that I changed my mind so drastically.
