  December 18, 2023 - Lovely blackberry, dark currant nose. Medium bodied, silky tannins and impressive persistence. A noble effort for the vintage, the wine has a liveliness and freshness to it. Very enjoyable on opening but will surely round into form with a few more years in the bottle. Hard to resist now given the deft oak management. One of my favorite producers, sorry that I did not buy this in quantity.
