  December 26, 2023 - cellared undisturbed for 21 yrs. color a medium ruby. light violet and herbaceous notes on the nose. palate delivers more pronounced violets, licorice, still strong wood notes. absence of fruit. tannins mostly but not all gone despite significant sediment fallout in the bottle. served after resting several hours following slow decant. very interesting parts but no symphony. drink now but but it may be too late.
