  December 27, 2023 - Deep tawny colour, some sediment in the bottle. Nose has a strong inky tone, along with jammed cherries, figs, some heat and spice. Ink is less noticeable in the taste, but still present, while taste replicates other components of the taste as well. Full body, medium acid, sweet, medium rounded up tannins. Has depth, but slightly off balance, very different to other red dessert wines i have tasted. Some bottle-life left, probably wont improve though.
