January 1, 2024 - Decanted 4 hours, this is way too young. It did open up a bit with a heavy dose of sulfur (matchstick). enough I looked up Powder House vineyard as maybe it was due to gun powder. I like this note on chard, but this was heavy and more than any other Aubert I have had before. Classic Aubert with a great balance of weight and precision with the oak and butter. all well balanced, with grapefruit, peaches, and touch of lanolin. Needs 5 more years, but this is no where near my favortite Aubert SV wine

1/2/24, 4:42 PM - This SV was my first allocation of Aubert. I'll be sitting on these for a while now.
With the upcoming release which wines should I purchase? Assuming everything allocated but what should I focus on? -

1/3/24, 10:08 AM - Lauren is the all time best. CIX is one of my faves as is Eastside. But they all have thei similarity and a bit of difference. I uslalu buy 1 or 2 bottles of 4-5 and this eyar will do 3-4 bottles of 2-3. and most likely buy the ones I mentioned aboved.
