Dark current, tar, tobacco, and spice box. Lots of mineral on the back end. This really drinks like a well-aged classed growth Medoc, or perhaps more Graves. Slightly flabby with not much in the way of acid or tannin, this likely was better 5 years ago. But still, this is well-made wine for sure.
