  January 4, 2024 - Root Day - purchased 2011. Dark lemon in the glass. Continuous stream of very small bubbles. Nose is brioche, light yeast, light citrus and mineral. On the palate the toast and brioche hits first with terrific palate cleansing bubbles and medium plus acidity followed by flavours of light mushroom, citrus, salinity and mineral. There’s a beautiful umami element to this wine due to its development. Great way to start off 2024!
