  December 9, 2023 - This wine, from mag, showed brilliantly. Surprisingly clean when opened and slow-o'd for 4 or more hours. Good acid. Really changed in the glass, filled out, distinct notes of clove (faintly reminiscent of the oral anaesthetic from childhood in its intensity), earthy, spicy, black fruited, light bodied bvut complex at the same time, definitely can detect the mourvedre (or whatever it is called in the Baleriacs); a joy to share with friends who were not winegeeks but nonetheless recognized what a special treat this was. Sadly, I understand that the garagiste winemaker struggles to find space to make his wines and that this wine my no longer be available.
