  January 6, 2024 - Flower Day - ok, so this is ridiculous!! Screw cap finished 2007 Red Rooster Reserve Gewürztraminer and it is absolutely delicious! It would be guessed to be maybe 3 years old if tasted blind. Lemon coloured (no age showing), nose is rose petals and spice. On the palate it’s ultra smooth with rose petals, spice, lychee and honeyed pear. The finish is long with the spice and other flavours continuing. It’s not opulent but instead elegant with persistent flavours. Stunning!
