  December 27, 2023 - Red cherry, dark plum, licorice. Mix of red and dark fruits so some dark cherry, black olive mixed in. Full bodied, high, ripe, velvety tannin, high acid, long finish. As always, this is an incredible Langhe Nebbiolo. I didn't taste them side by side but If I had, I think I'd prefer the 2021. Both fantastic and objectively little to split them but for me, the 2021 just has that slightly stronger sense of place which I think this wine is all about.
