  January 7, 2024 - First time tasting anything from this producer and was impressed. More deeply colored than other contemporaries of this 1er Cru, Nose is ripe per the vintage, moving towards darker fruits and berries, still very fresh with some spices and forest. the palate confirms the nose, but the freshness from the acidity provides a great backbone for everything to hang off of, good density of fruit, nice lush and juiciness, good persistence in the finish, perhaps lacking in some elegance and balance today but it is quite approachable and the bottle did not last long.
