January 6, 2024 - From memory so no detailed notes, which is a shame as this was very interesting especially after the 2017 viña Cobos Bramare. The Bramare was like a Lexus— high value, snobby, well made, ultimately a little too well engineered and a little boring. The Innervisions was like a Miata (or maybe a Lotus is a better comparison) — quick, agile, fun. Everyone went “whoa” with the wines delivered in sequence, it’s a pretty stark difference in attitude. It was fun to see the table love the Bramare with our wagyu steak - and they really did love it — and then be blown away by the EWCY! wine.
Gobs of red fruit, all that acidic energy, what’s not to love?
