  January 11, 2024 - Evolving nose of rose garden scents, iodine/blood, game with a background of beet root, pale red fruits and an orange top note beginning to take form. This is just starting to show some sous bois character but like the other bottle of '08 CDNV tasted a while ago, this needs a bit of time yet. Acidity is prominent today. Juicy to drink but need more evolution on the nose to show some more definitive "dampness" and undergrowth character. Very secondary. 91.
