January 6, 2024 - Wines drunk around London; 1/3/2024-1/7/2024 (London, UK): This was lovely right away as it showed off balanced tones of toast, nectarines, almond paste, red apples, quince, vanilla beans, biscuits, stone fruits, smoke, gun flint, and some crushed rocks. There is excellent balance and poise already while it does show a slight toasty side from the oak use. The Medium bodied feel is deft and balanced with tart, high acidity. It’s been a minute since I’ve had a Huertebise and this is just flowing right now. I don't think this really needs that much aging as it is fairly seamless already with a good amount of integration on both the nose and palate.
