January 1, 2024 - 2024 New Year's Day Double Blind Tasting: Double-blind. Wow! The nose is rocking! This is what Nebbiolo should always taste like. Fully mature, resolved tannin, high acidity, some mahogany wood with high toned red fruit. This is in its sweet spot right now. My WOTN edging out my '95 Haut Brion.

2/21/24, 5:27 PM - Were the wines decanted and for how long?

  • Francophile1 commented:

2/21/24, 5:38 PM - All of the wines were decanted. Some for longer than others based on the owner’s discretion. I believe this wine in particular was only decanted for approximately 30 minutes.
