January 24, 2024 - Bottle 1334g. Moderately intense lifted aromas of black cherry, loam, milk, sweet floral-spice top note. Dry, with elevated bright acidity, moderate grippy tannins, medium- to full-bodied, 15% abv but not hot, just spicy and dark-fruited. Fresh and appealing despite the high alcohol. Herbed lamb loin chops.

2/1/24, 10:31 AM - Hi there - I hope you won’t mind my leaving a comment (and a question) on this note. I am greatly intrigued by the bottle weights you give on many of your tasting notes. Do you seek lighter bottles for reasons of easier storage? I have noted that many producers these days put their wines in absurdly thick and elaborately-designed bottles that must add unnecessary cost (as well as weight). I’m always keen to learn from my fellow CellarTracker members. Cheers.
