• Cote d'Or Likes this wine:

  February 11, 2024 - Tasted over 3 hrs
  -translucent light gold-green
  -little bit of funk matchstick
  -med/med+ acidity gives a gentle but lively prickle on the finish, med/med- weight lemon citrus end of the chardonnay spectrum faint bitter note as seen in the Grésigny but this is embedded in a mineral bath, gentle smoky oak, good length
  -this is drinking well now even if there is a lot of room to open up, first time tasting from this lieu-dit - more typical of Burgundy than last night's Grésigny though still leaner and more citrus/mineral than most Cote de Beaune whites, very nice!
