February 17, 2024 - 100% Grenache Noir from 120y vines (on the highest and steepest north-facing vineyard in Maury overlooking the Agly valley) aged in 4-year-old 400L barrels for 18 months. Bottle 310 of 360.
Decanted an hour. Rosemary, cranberry, cherry, desert scrub, hint of smoked meat & florals, pepper.
It paired awesomely with some Montreal-seasoned smoked beef tongue.1 person found this helpful 105 views

I have one bottle which I bought from Moritz directly when I visited his operation in Roussillon a few years ago, and which I am holding onto with anticipation for another year or so.

2/22/24, 12:00 PM - Yes. I have had his full gambit. His basic whites and reds are fine, and his Traveller is very good. But his Rosés are outstanding.
