  February 24, 2024 - 1st vintage from Jimmy Smith & co at Beare Green. A homage to the Pinot blanc wines of Alsace and Alto Adige. The nose has white blossom and fresh cut flowers, pear and lemon zest, the palate is great and there’s a lovely texture to this wine (from extended lees aging says the label) fresh and clean, the lemony acidity cuts through the ripe orchard fruit very nicely indeed. Paired well with a fennel risotto. 12.5%. Bottle 289/600
