Lighter bodied than i remember from 2 years ago. very nice though with notes of indian spice, earthiness, black fruits a little funk, pepper. Seemed to indicate Syrah to blimd tasters.1,012 views

3/6/24, 2:27 PM - Paul Gordon (winemaker) left a TN a few years ago on the fizziness experienced with some of the Halcon wines. "Winemaker note - with all our wines, within the first year or so in bottle there is a slight spritz from trapped CO2. This is a great preservative and allows for a low SO2 regime. If sensitive to this I suggest an aggressive decant." It appears this remains beyond Yr1, but blows off and should not be an issue.
