  March 7, 2024 - Root Day - Opaque dark crimson core out to a medium light crimson edge. Nose is herby with earthy elements and dark chocolate with a hit of blue and red fruit. On the palate it’s quite smooth with ripe resolved tannins although they are definitely evident the longer you hold the wine in your mouth, medium acidity and flavours of red fruit, light tobacco, blue florals and spice. The finish is medium in length with the fruit, light tobacco, spice and florals continuing. Little in the way of ‘greeness’ but still carrying the Cab Franc herby side with lots of fruit.
