  December 12, 2023 - An old friend, we have been tasting this one for decades. Always value priced, but not always a decent Pinot value. Trying to give it a chance, i can go both ways with this vintage. It has quite dark color, and quite a bit of richness. But, there is barely enough Pinot type flavors and funk to earn the title. The fruit flavors don’t differentiate themselves very well, and the acid really seems artificial and even abrasive on the palate long after the finish. But, it tasted fine with hamburgers and didn’t cost very much.
