  March 11, 2024 - This is good though I thought it definitely showed the heat of the vintage; the nose was initially quite ripe, almost liqueur like though it did gain some minerality and freshness with air; the palate was big with a borderline warm finish and while it stopped short of having any prune or significant heat on the finish it was not my favorite Pavelot. That said I think with age this could turn out quite nice. I'd give this a decade really from here and see if the warm fruit gains complexity and everything balances out.
