February 8, 2024 - Every time I drink Tempier Rose I wonder if I can ask for much more from a wine. Sure, it will never be as complex and long lasting as great Burgundy, Bordeaux or Rhône but it’s easily as pleasurable, if not more. Which brings me to the pricing of this wine. If you look at Rose as something to be quaffed during the summer months, nothing to think about or pair to, then, undoubtedly, the price tag will irk you. However, if you buy Rose as a wine that can be stored/aged and consumed all year then the price is fair, more than fair. How much better is Tempier Rose than mid-tier Macon or California Chardonnay? Tempier Rose is more versatile at the table, more aromatically complex and satisfying to drink.

3/13/24, 5:53 PM - Hard to argue with any of that. Not cheap in terms of rose, but every time I drink one I am impressed and happy.
