July 19, 2020 - In the tradition of red wines produced in Northern Michigan, this 50/50 blend of Cab Franc and Merlot results in relatively light and delicate wine. The leans more toward a Merlot type magenta color. Great job with plenty of mouth coating cherry and other red fruits. It is not intense but really quite balanced. Some Northern Michigan earthy minerality joins the persistent cherry on the finish.
