June 10, 2023 - A red fruited, savory, ferrous and floral nose. Structured but not grumpy or austere. This is coming into its own in a youthful mode still. Ferrous and structured, with density without heaviness. Early peak. i like how the '96s are starting to turn the corner. Quite long on the back end. Not for hedonists, but I really like it. Sapid, vertical beautifully balanced wine.
