The acidity is medium and balances nicely with a body that has some weight to it. Cooked citrus fruits and lemon preserves are prominent in the mouth along with a nice saline minerality. There are some toasty notes of age as well. The finish is surprisingly long and emphasizes this wine's complexity.
  
  The past 11 years have treated this wine well. I've had this exact same bottling at release and I haven't been very impressed. It tasted ok, but rather anonymous. But this has really become something interesting. It's definitely not a young 'un anymore, but is in no danger of heading downhill soon.
